Our Service Unit was well represented at the GSNC East Bay/ Solano Area Adult Recognition Event yesterday. Camille Stroughter and Emilia Sanchez were awarded the GSUSA Appreciation Pin for the significant impact they’ve had volunteering as our Membership Support Manager and Treasurer, respectively. Carey Grandt and Rebecca Scalf (that’s me!) we’re presented with the Outdoor Trailblazer Award for helping provide creative recreational and educational opportunities for girls in the outdoors.

As you can see, we are in the process of updating our Oakland Service Unit webpage!  We hope it can be more of a resource for leaders, volunteers, and other interested parties.
